grants from churches, chapels or places of worship of all denominations
in the Buckingham Archdeaconry, that are either more than 100 years old
or are otherwise of particular architectural or historical interest. • Whilst each application will be considered on its merits, most awarded grants relate to work associated with the repair of roofs, external stonework and rainwater disposal systems, for which a Faculty and/or planning consent has been granted or, where necessary, are being applied for. |

| National Churches Trust - Large Grants | Stage 1: Midnight, 1 July 2025 | • Towards the cost of major, urgent,
structural repair projects costed at more than £80,000 including VAT. • Will also consider projects for facilities to enable increased community use, costed at more than £30,000 including VAT. • Grants will never exceed 50% of the project cost. You must have raised at least 50% of project cost already. • To be eligible, must be built over 30 years ago as a place of worship, open a minimum of 100 days a year (or will be following project completion) and for at least six services of public worship each year. If annual income in the accounts is over £100,000, is the building registered with the Charity Commission, or in process of registration. • Projects must be led by a qualified professional with required accreditation, all necessary permission approved prior to applying and yet to start. |
